Izzy Update

There was a request for an Izzy update... (If you want to follow her progress closely, let me know and i will send you a link to her Carepages blog)

The short of it is that Izzy has had a tough time in and out of the hospital with fevers and episodes of aspiration (one of which was a very scary time for her parents and involved paramedics, ambulances, and terrible needles into bone marrow and such. Not fun.)

Right now she is at Children's Hospital Boston recovering from successful heart surgery. She has not had an easy time of it and the road not been a straight forward one... But, we have learned that she is a fighter (for real!)and that every time we think we know what to expect, there is a surprise lurking. Hopefully, the surprises will turn to awesome ones that blow our minds with her progress.

She still has her amazing hair.. check out this cute picture. The outfit is courtesy of orthopedics, as she is in a hip brace that is almost a full body cast! Izzy we love you!!!
