Spring is sprung

Hello all.

There has been a lot going on here. Our attic is being remodeled into a bedroom and bath for B and me. We are so excited! It is challenging to have a little one napping while crazy sounds are exploding from above... I am just thankful that she is not crawling around in the squalor that is our house at the moment. That would probably be a hazard. But the reason I haven't updated the blog is because Sylvi now sleeps in the office (I don't do well with her in the same room as I am unfortunately)and when she isn't sleeping... well, you get the idea.

We are so thankful to have had some nice weather to go outside and clean up the yard a bit and go to a park with our lunch! Awesome times. (Nolan and his friend Mona in a tree in photo.)

We are all fighting a virus. We started the season with the adenovirus, so we thought it apt to end with one. We have the pink eye and all of it. Somehow it is easier to deal with (there is no puking this time)when there better weather outside.

Sylvi has started sleeping 8 hours most nights which has been wonderful! We started a bit of rice cereal to control her reflux and it has done the trick! However she goes on poop strikes for a week at a time. (picture is of one of her marathon baking soda baths to get her to go.) Needless to say at the end of said week she is not sleeping much. So its all a toss up. My goals are small really, sleeping and pooping and eating... for everyone. Just keeping it real.

So my springtime wish for all of you is this.. a good meal, a good night's sleep and a couple of minutes to yourself in the bathroom to do your business! Cheers!

Its tough in the hospital to get any of those three. 1/3 would make me happy.

Great pics.

I have always found it relaxing to poop in the tub. Silvi has that "Stay on your toes guys cause something significant is about to take place" look on her face. Apparently you haven't had the conversation with her about getting mad at it. Tell her to expell the demon with force and fury. That's what Izzy does.

Nolan is looking so grown up. Its amazing to see. His haircut is like mine when I was his age. Throw a sweathogs t-shirt on him and call him Nick for a day.

Love you guys.
