Buicks and remodeling

Ok! So, the universe has spoken. First the floods prevented us from getting the house up on the market in June (prime time) and now banks and mortgage companies are tanking left and right creating havoc. We are throwing in the towel, taking the house off the market and counting our lucky stars to have the house we have. And thanks to our responsible parents who taught us to have good credit, we will hopefully be able to refinance (Thank you Nick, with your special Navy Fed Credit Union connection), and finish our attic to be a master suite with storage. (God knows we at least need another bathroom... With 2 man-boys creating a constant flow to the room in question and the anticipation of passing a small Buick thru my pelvis shortly! I am thinking of renting a port-o-potty!)

Not sure remodeling and bringing a newborn into the house is the best plan ever, so maybe we will wait a few months... Either way keep us in your thoughts that all goes as smoothly as remodeling possibly can... Buicks and all.
