The last day possible... The pool closes today and he put his head under, kicked and paddled and blew bubbles all at the same time. He officially knows how to swim without assistance!!!! We're so proud. He likes to swim in a clockwise circle best. Who knows what that is about? Now we have to find an indoor pool for the winter.
Oh, and equally important, on the last day possible I picked up a lifeguard who will babysit, who is staying local cuz she's still in high school. (We just lost our babysitter, Caryn, to college away.) This one even works in a daycare! I was interviewing her while she sold the last of the snack shack's inventory to children with enough change to afford a good sugar buzz. Good times.
I will miss the pool.
